Amanda grew up in North Mississippi where sipping sweet tea on a front porch and attending every single SEC college football game is a rite of passage (Go Bulldogs!). After graduating college, she moved to London, England where she spent nearly 12 years living as an expat after marrying her husband. Together they now live stateside near Charlotte, NC and have tween twins, a few purring cats and a very spoiled pup. Amanda has had some pretty neat experiences such as writing as a newspaper journalist, giving brides advice as a magazine columnist and even owned a wedding & events company in London. Her proudest career moment is being nationally recognized in several wedding magazines abroad for her work in England and across Europe with weddings and event planning. While Amanda enjoys planning domestic travel, she specializes in wedding destinations and European travel. She feels completely lucky to have seen so much of that part of the world.
